No cash changes hands.“Mrs Jones hears about Living Life Counselling's community drive and posts on VolGive that she needs her picket fence painted. Jimmy is a painter — he spots her post, claims the job, and paints her fence. Mrs Jones taps €30 demo data on Jimmy's phone with her credit or debit card (or phone). The €30 demo data lands straight in Living Life Counselling's account to help cover part of the cost of a counselling session.”

At Living Life Counselling (CHY 15284), all of our counsellors and board members give their time on a voluntary basis, and people attending counselling simply give whatever they can afford. We wanted a way for people who are not counsellors — like Jimmy — to be able to give their time and skills too. Every donation raised through a doer and a giver goes towards covering part of the cost of a counselling session, meeting running costs, and improving Living Life's service.
1. Do (doer) → 2. Give (giver) → 3. Receive (charity)
Every completed job creates a doer win, a giver win, and a charity win.
Doer Completes a Favour or Job
Jimmy paints a fence, gives a Leaving Cert Maths grind, cuts grass, or completes a sponsored run. Afterward, the doer enters the agreed amount on the doer review screen.
Giver Reads & Taps Card or Phone on Doer's Phone
Mrs Jones reads the charity name, task, and unticked fee opt-in on Jimmy's phone, then simply taps her contactless credit/debit card (or her phone) on the back of Jimmy's phone.
Paid Straight into the Charity's Stripe Account
The doer never holds money. Funds go straight into the charity's connected Stripe account, and givers can choose to cover VolGive's 5% so the charity receives 100%.
Transparent Giving Through Time, Skills & Clear Fee Choices
Time & Skills, Not Just Spare Money
Traditional fundraising relies on people who already have spare money to give. VolGive lets people with time and practical skills become doers and unlock real funding for charities.
Unticked Opt-In, Side by Side
VolGive's 5% fee cover tick box is unticked by default. Before tapping, the giver sees both outcomes side by side — “€30.00 to charity, you cover €1.50” vs “€28.50 to charity” demo data — and makes a clear, informed choice.
Sponsorship Is One Kind of Do
Marathons, swims, and cycles work seamlessly on VolGive — as one kind of Do alongside everyday favours, skilled tasks, school rivalries, and Corporate Community Days.

Also: Givers Can Post a Task on the Task Board
While Favour → Tap is the primary front door, a giver can also post a task with a suggested amount and charity; a doer accepts, and payment uses the same Tap/QR collector screen on completion.
